What is the job ?

Already located in Houston, Paris, Dubai and Singapore, we are growing fast across the United States and are expanding to New York City to get closer to our existing accounts and to our prospects.

We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Commercial Manager to develop sales in New York and reinforce Kpler’s presence in the region.

By joining us, you will take the ownership of every stage of the Sales process across a variety of accounts: prospecting, arranging meetings, presenting, negotiating & closing. The role includes to go on frequent business trips to meet prospects, attend conferences and establish relationships in the industry. We are looking for someone who likes to take on new challenges and deliver results in a timely manner to contribute to the future & growth of the newly built office and of the company as a whole.

What we are looking for

It could be the perfect fit if...

… you graduated from a Bachelor’s degree, an advanced technical degree or a MBA

… you have around 4 to 6 years of working experience, ideally in business development or client-facing roles, preferably in energy or global commodities markets.

… you have strong written and verbal interpersonal/communication skills and capacity to engage in strategic diplomacy

… you are a self-starter with ability to multi-task and manage time effectively under tight deadlines

… you can demonstrate a great understanding of client needs, with a commercial drive to conclude new deals

… you are familiar with energy markets and the trading environment

… you are keen to learn and achieve
